If you didn't manage to make it to the theatre over the weekend, you may want to wait until this movie hits DVD because after you see it you're definitely gonna want to watch it over and over again. Just Wright is definitely a classic love story. It has a very original plot, but i don't want to tell the movie so you will have to see it yourself. The performance from the veteran Queen Latifah was incredible, and her phenomenal supporting cast (Common & Paula Patton) was just icing on the cake. I was just kidding about waiting for the DVD. GO SEE IT NOW!!!

You know how after the finals, they always come out with a video right away showing the winning team's road to being champions? Where all the plays are dramatic Slow-Mo as the guy with the ridiculously deep and raspy voice narrates? The final few minutes of last night's Laker/Jazz game would definitely make that cut for the Los Angeles Lakers. The score was teeth-to-nail close throughout the battle. It seemed as if Utah's performance was boosted by their home-team advantage. Utah's finesse on offense kept the score close and the probability of them getting their first win of the series seemed promising. And then there was Kobe... Although the Jazz were keeping up offensively, their defense was no match for the uncompromising Kobe-Fisher-Artest-(even)Odom assisted Long-range game. In the end Utah still had a chance, due to a fluke in-bound by the lakers, the jazz found themselves literally inches away from their first series win, but they just couldn't get the ball in the hoop. So as the buzzer sounded the Jazz walked away from game three with their heads held low, as victims to another Los Angeles Laker triumphant victory.

Up There takes a look up-close and personal at the advertising mural industry and into the lives of the artists who struggle to find work as their job are replaced by vinyl advertisements.
One of these will definately be the next backpack I purchase.. It's gonna be a hard decision between the boulder and Tokyo Packs. Prices haven't been released.. but I hope it doesnt break me.

Sad day in HipHop when you wake to news that one of its founders has passed. Guru brought us classics such as Mass Appeal, You Know My Steez, and many more. A little over a month ago Guru (born Keith Elam) suffered from a heart attack and had been recovering from the surgery that ensued. Guru had been fighting in a bout with cancer for over a year, but sadly, yesterday at the ripe age of 43, our HipHop forefather lost the fight. As the bell sounds he leaves us with this letter. After reading the letter, I'm heart-broken to learn that (either someone embellished his death letter or) he died with a grudge. Life is too short people, make amends, forgive, forget, let go, Life is too fragile. Rest In Peace Keith "Guru" Elam.
